Summary of Position: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -TYR Tactical - is currently seeking a full-time entry level Marketing Assistant. -This is an onsite role. In this role you will be responsible for assisting with social media, print and digital media content development, and data reporting in support of the company's marketing strategies. - - -Major Duties and Responsibilities: - - - - - - - - - -Provide support to the Marketing Director - - - - - - - - - -Collaborate with Marketing Director to develop and execute marketing strategy - - - - - - - - - -Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities - - - - - - - - - -Collect marketing data and metrics for Marketing Director to evaluate and identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations. - - - - - - - - - -Assist with organizing various projects (trade shows, conferences and other marketing events) - - - - - - - - - -Develop content for social media in collaboration with the Marketing Director - - - - - - - - - -Collaborate and assist in the creation of engaging and compelling content, including blog posts, articles, newsletters, and multimedia assets - - - - - - - - - -Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities and recommend strategies to enhance brand awareness and generate leads - - - - - - - - - -Write and proofread marketing content, such as blog posts, email newsletters, and social media posts - - - - - - - - - -Serve as assistant for print, web, videos, creative projects working closely with the Marketing Director - - - - - - - - - -Uphold brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all marketing communications and touchpoints. Experience: - - - - - - - - -High school diploma and 2+ years' experience working in marketing or communications. - - - - - - - - -In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and experience managing social media accounts - - - - - - - - -Strong writing and proofreading skills, with the ability to create engaging and persuasive content - - - - - - - - -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen attention to detail - - - - - - - - -Results-driven mindset and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - - - - - - - - -Highly creative with the ability to think outside the box and propose innovative ideas - - - - - - - - -Experience in graphic design or photography/photo editing preferred
Desired Skills: - - - - - - - - -Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office Suite. - - - - - - - - -Ability to think quickly, respond immediately and creatively - - - - - - - - -Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills - - - - - - - - -An ability to work independently and collaboratively - - - - - - - - -Ability to integrate with a diverse team with varying opinions and ideas - - - - - - - - -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and cope professionally with changing priorities - - - - - - - - -Excellent written and verbal communication skills - - - - - - - - -Proficiency in photography, video shooting, editing, and production software is preferred
