Job Description:

A non-profit health insurance company is looking for a DevOps Engineer III to join their our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in DevOps tools and methodologies, with a focus on enhancing cloud infrastructure and deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities:Terraform:

• Utilize Terraform to build and manage resources in major cloud providers (preferably Azure).
• Understand Terraform remote state, workspaces, and modules.
• Write and optimize Terraform configurations using HCL.Jenkins:
  • Extend Jenkins capabilities with plugins and implement CI/CD pipelines (Jenkinsfile).
  • Manage Jenkins agents, secrets, and pipeline parameters.
  • Create reusable libraries and understand installation and maintenance, with bonus knowledge in Kubernetes.Release Management:
    • Familiarize yourself with XL Release and evaluate team release processes.
    • Integrate various tools into release management orchestration, including CI/CD and collaboration tools.Kubernetes:
      • Navigate Kubernetes architecture and perform basic troubleshooting with kubectl commands.
      • Understand network policies and cluster components.HELM:
        • Work with public chart repositories and create custom HELM charts.
        • Version HELM charts and utilize CLI commands effectively.
        • Docker:
        • Construct Dockerfiles, manage community-based images, and troubleshoot Docker environments.
        • Understand networking and persistence in Docker containers.
          Additional Requirements:
          • Proficient in shell scripting and at least one programming language (Python, Java, Go, etc.).
          • Basic understanding of Linux OS and version control systems (e.g., Git).
          • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and microservices architecture.
          • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Prometheus) and knowledge of CI/CD principles.
            This is a 6 month contract to hire position that will require you to go into the office about once a month in Phoenix, AZ.
