Description
The Sales Director is a player/coach position, with the primary
responsibility to recruit, hire, lead and mentor a B2B sales team
of a $9 million automotive training/performance support
organization across multiple verticals while driving key growth
(70%) while also building and managing an individual book of key
enterprise accounts (30%).
You will do this by:
- Establishing Quantum5's niche in the automotive retail
space
- Cultivating a hands-on leadership approach by partnering with
sales team members on deal execution while also managing an
individual book of business
- Creating and executing sales strategies to achieve business
objectives
- Meeting and striving to exceed sales revenue goals
- Recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and retaining a high
performing sales team
- Coaching and mentoring sales team members to optimize
individual performance
- Maintaining, updating and ensuring compliance with the Sales
Playbook
- Developing sales proposals and responses to request for
proposals (RFPs)
- Supporting complex sales presentations and negotiations
- Monitoring and troubleshooting key performance indicators
(KPIs) such as funnel stage conversions, close rates, revenue vs.
plan, customer loyalty, and organic growth
- Traveling to and presenting to prospects, at trade shows and
company events as required or neededQualifications
- 7+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, never too
far removed from directly engaging in sales activities
- Recent experience selling to OEMs and large dealer groups;
large contracts a plus
- Proven record showing outstanding sales results and
interpersonal skills
- Proven experience growing sales operations in a high-growth
environment
- A bachelor's degree or better with a business concentration or
equivalent
- Must demonstrate outstanding leadership, communication, and
interpersonal skills
- Must possess experience and expertise in selling strategies and
methodologies, strategic planning and execution, and employee
motivation techniques
- Ability to conduct effective discovery discussions, and
engineer and execute solutions to drive positive sales
outcomes
- Experience with agile work environment is preferred, but
curiosity is required
- Enjoys and thrives in fast-paced, changing, and growing
environment
- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 is a plus
