Position Highlights The University of Arizona County Cooperative
Extension Director position for Maricopa County (MCCE) provides key
leadership and oversight of Extension programs, faculty, and staff.
The primary focus of this position is to facilitate innovative and
impactful strategic directions and guide planning and actions to
meet county-wide needs, develop the capacity of MCCE through
internal and external partnerships, seek and oversee external
funding, hire and mentor faculty, and communicate impacts through
reports using a variety of means. The Director will utilize a
strengths-based approach that meets the unique needs of the county
and its people. The position requires excellent written and verbal
communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to
influence and work with decision-makers and stakeholders on many
levels.

Report In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus
Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each
year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report
(ASR) for each of the University's campuses. These reports disclose
information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three
calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the
University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how
to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime
victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main
Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with
information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies,
and procedures.
