  • A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS/Tele float pool.
  • The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience, an active BLS, ACLS and AZ license or compact.
  • Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting (2 max attempts) and will take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation.
  • COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD.

    • 2+ years of current tele experience
    • Active BLS, ACLS
    • AZ license or compact
    • Must be able to titrate drips
    • Must be able to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (WITH 2 MAX ATTEMPTS), within 48 hours of offer
    • Pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions)
    • Travelers will float between all Tele and MedSurg units
    • Floating required to ICU, Cardiac Tele, as well as all Tele units, MedSurg, any & every holding area
    • Must be able to interpret EKGs
      • Schedule Information
      • Contract length: 13 weeks
      • Shifts: 12 hr shifts, 7-7
      • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend for Tele B3A and Tele Neuro units
      • 4 weekend shifts per 4 week period for MedSurg C5 and MedSurg B2C units
      • Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
        • Unit Specific Information
        • CV Tele B3A: 32 bed unit, Charge Nurse with no patient assignment, Techs: PCTs - 1 per every 16 patients
        • A3 Neuro: 28 bed unit, Charge Nurse with no patient assignment, Techs: PCTs - 1 per every 16 patients
        • MedSurg C5: 32 beds, Ortho, Surgical, Oncology unit, Charge Nurse with no patient assignment, Nurse Aides: PCTs on days
        • MedSurg B2C: 29 beds unit, Charge Nurse with no patient assignment, Nurse Aides: PCTS on days
          • Additional Details
          • Travelers must clock-out when leaving one campus then clock-in when arrive at the other campus
          • Spectralink phones (call light attached to phone)
          • General MedSurg patients that require tele
          • Amio, Cardizem to titrate down only
          • The distance between the 2 campuses is 9 miles
          • Depending on traffic takes 15 minutes
          • All interstate
