The Division of Radiation Oncology at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center continues to experience rapid growth. As part of this growth, we are recruiting an Advanced Practice Provider to provide inpatient and outpatient coverage at the Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Excellent opportunity for dynamic APP (FNP, AGNP, AGACNP or PA) with oncology experience. Qualified candidate is required to be board certified and is expected to provide compassionate, evidence-based, and multidisciplinary care to cancer patients. Experience preferred, however new graduate candidates with strong oncology backgrounds will be considered. Our APP is expected to be an active member of the Division and participate in clinical, research and education services provided by Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center (BMDACC) at the Banner Thunderbird Medical Center (BTMC) and Banner Boswell Medial Center Campuses.

• Radiation Oncology experience preferred
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, no call
• Split coverage: 2 days at Boswell, 2.5 days at BTMC
• Duties include inpatient and outpatient consultations, follow-ups, inpatient rounding, and triage for patients receiving radiation therapy.
• New RN to NP graduates with prior oncology experience are encouraged to applyThe program is highly integrated with The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, including opportunities for education and mentorship.

(the Phoenix Metro area) on the Banner Gateway Campus, the center provides world-class care for oncology patients - both inpatient and outpatient - and has also brought leading oncology programs to the Banner Gateway campus including Stem Cell Transplantation and comprehensive Head & Neck cancer care. Our capabilities include five linear accelerator vaults, a brachytherapy vault, an advanced diagnostic imaging suite with PET/CT scan, more than fifty infusion bays, a cryopreservation lab and much more. Our inpatient medical oncology unit also incorporates a program that utilizes the electronic surveillance partnership in caring for the patient, where remote nurses can interact with patients via two-way audio-video to assist the bedside nurse with patient care.
