TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Gilbert, Arizona, 85297 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights, 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; first to float, could float to a sister facility Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of strong cardiac telemetry experience License: Required submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Strong cardiac tele background - Ability to decrease cardiac drips per physician orders and parameters - Experience with titratable drips such as Cardizem, Heparin, Amiodarone - Ability to read & interpret strips Job Description: - Provide care for patients from the ER waiting for a bed in the hospital - Pass a dysrhythmia exam through RELIAS prior to start (2 max attempts) - Participate in a PASS/FAIL SIM LAB on day one of orientation (study guides provided) - Care for more telemetry patients versus medical patients - Assist with ED patients including vitals, IV starts, and medication administration, without being the primary RN for ED patient assignments - Float to med/surg/tele/overflow units as needed, including sister facilities - Collaborate with ED charge nurse and ED PCTs available on the unit - Follow Navy scrub color/dress code - Chart using the Cerner system - Complete a unit/department-specific orientation with 2 shifts in Med/Surg/Tele at the primary campus - Follow a weekend and holiday rotation schedule along with permanent staff - No on-call requirement, but flexible scheduling needed 26068854EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing A diverse range of assignments on your resume showcases your adaptability, versatility, and resilience.
