Job Description:

• Work Dates Needed: Ongoing - Starting as soon as credentialed
• Preferred Schedule: Flexible Schedule 24hr call - 5-7 days
• Worksite Setting: Hospital Inpatient Adult
• Scope of Work: Colonoscopy with & without biopsy Liver biopsy Insertion/management of Sengstaken-Blakemore tube Sigmoidoscopy, both flexible & rigid Upper GI endoscopy with & without ERCP Competency in ERCP Advanced (EUS/ERCP represent about 10% of the daily demand Locums will work solo/independently with 24/7 hospitalist support Adult hospital patients Locums would cover 5-7 days with 24/7 support Avg patients per physician daily - 10-15 Locums do not respond to in-house calls Locums are not required to supervise other healthcare providers; Solo work Locums are not expected to back up the ED or trauma
• Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active AZ License Active AZ DEA Board certified BLS ACLS Current CV 3 references Experience is preferred Competency in ERCP Fellowship preferred, but not required
