    • Minimum 2 years of experience - must be recent, within the past 6 months
    • Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (WITH 2 MAX ATTEMPTS), within 48 hours of offer
    • MUST BE ABLE TO READ STRIPS
    • Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts on the floor
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts: 12 hrs, 7-7
      • Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4 week period (days - Sat, Sun, nights - Fri, Sat)
      • One major and minor holiday
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: MedSurg A3 (formerly C5)
        • # beds: 32 beds. Ortho, Surgical, Oncology
        • Ratios: 1:4 ratio days and nights
        • Scrub Color: Navy
        • Tele: GE Monitors. Central monitoring station tech to read
        • Common diagnosis/Types of patients: 80% Surgical, 20% Oncology. Ortho - JHACO certified knee and hip program. 8-10 elective knee/hips per week. Other - Urological, Abdominal, Whipple, Women's surgeries (no OBGyn)

          • Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (WITH 2 MAX ATTEMPTS), within 48 hours of offer
          • There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions
          • Spectralink phones (call light attached to phone)
          • 4 weekend shifts/4 week schedule + first to float, could float to sister facility, Mercy Gilbert
