About the Role:Abrazo Health Network is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our NICU team on a per diem basis. As a member of our team, you will provide professional nursing care to critically ill newborns and their families.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.
• Coordinate care planning with other disciplines and act as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
• Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals and participate in hourly rounding.
• Observe safety guidelines and safe work practices, and may be asked to be in charge for a shift(s).Requirements:
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • CPR and ACLS certifications as applicable by Facility/by Department.
  • Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
