Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Abrazo Health Network. As a Med Surg Registered Nurse, you will provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit, coordinating care planning with other disciplines and acting as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.Responsibilities:

• Provides individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.
• Coordinates care planning with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Acts as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
• Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.
• Participates in hourly rounding and observes safety guidelines and safe work practices.Requirements:
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • CPR and ACLS certifications as applicable by Facility/by Department.
  • Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
