The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20.5/hr with benefits including:Free entry to any Six Flags Park for all employees and a guest with each visitAdditional complimentary tickets for friends and familyFlexible scheduling optionsDaily and weekly pay availableWHAT YOU WILL DO:The Security Department is looking for a dedicated, reliable, and experienced individual to join the team as a Security Shift Supervisor. You will oversee daily security operations, ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and park property. You will lead and manage a team of security personnel to maintain a secure environment throughout the park.HOW YOU WILL DO IT:Supervise and direct security personnel during your shift, ensuring all duties are performed effectively and efficientlyPerform routine patrols throughout the park to monitor safety and securityRespond to emergencies, including medical incidents, security threats, and guest disturbancesOversee the monitoring and operation of surveillance systems, including CCTV, alarms, and radio communicationsEnsure the security team is properly equipped, trained, and following proceduresDocument incidents, accidents, and other activities accurately in daily logsProvide training and guidance to new security team membersConduct safety drills and review security policies regularlyHandle guest interactions and resolve conflicts in a professional mannerCollaborate with management to improve safety measures and operationsWHAT YOU WILL NEED:Must be at least 21 years of agePrevious supervisory experience in security or law enforcement requiredStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to remain calm and composed under pressureAble to handle confidential information responsiblyExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsAble to work flexible/rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidaysMust be able to stand and walk for extended periods of timeAbility to pass background check and drug screeningOTHER NOTES:May perform other duties beyond the scope of the description as necessary to support the park as a wholeReports to the Security Department LeadershipWhile this job description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the requirements of the job, management reserves the right to add or remove duties when circumstances (e.g., emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs, or technological developments) dictate.Six Flags is a Drug-Free Equal Opportunity Employer.Interested candidates should apply online at jobs.sixflags.com Park Location: Glendale, AZ - Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix
