Job Description:
A company is looking for an Interpreter to provide language
interpretation services between patients, families, and healthcare
teams.
Key Responsibilities
Perform bilingual interpretation of patient care needs between
patients, families, and healthcare team members
Maintain accurate documentation of interpretation activities and
participate in educational programs to maintain skills
Refer identified psychosocial issues to appropriate departments for
effective response to patient and family needs
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Fluency in English and a foreign language
Experience in interpretation services, preferably in a healthcare
setting
Knowledge of cultural considerations in healthcare
Ability to adhere to national standards of practice and ethics in
interpretation
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and education
programs
