Interns who perform well and demonstrate a commitment to our values of integrity, creativity, teamwork, passion and excellence may be extended employment opportunities with Western Alliance Bank.The intern will be a team member of:The Corporate Compliance Department serves as a business partner that supports the Company and its affiliates to achieve regulatory success through our committed approach of measuring and monitoring real and potential areas of compliance risk. While compliance is everyone's responsibility, the Department takes pride in being a resource that helps the business areas navigate a multitude of regulatory requirements and complexities through feedback, guidance, assessment and advice.What we are looking for: The Intern will be assigned to various projects within the Corporate Compliance group including for example researching new laws or regulations impacting the banking and mortgage businesses; monitoring, assessing and documenting customer calls; testing loan or deposit transactions; and assisting with documenting and organizing department share folders.Individuals who are passionate and entrepreneurial, just like our clients. Specifically, we're looking for top-performers interested in pursuing careers in Commercial Banking. You may be a fit for the program if you meet certain eligibility requirements, including:

• Undergraduate students currently enrolled in a related field of study
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision
• An interest in working in the Commercial Business Banking industryTo be eligible for this program, you must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis.
