Job Description:
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Provide daily support for production applications, including
payments and banking platforms
Troubleshoot technical issues and participate in incident bridge
calls
Drive issue resolution and communicate status effectively
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions
Maintain and update operational documentation and contingency
plans
Support system failover procedures, patching, and software
deployments
Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders for
issue resolution and updates
Participate in audits, risk reviews, and fulfill regulatory
compliance requirements
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement,
automation, and enhanced monitoring
Must-Haves:
5+ years of professional experience in production application
support
Strong background in Unix/Linux systems
Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting
Experience using monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk)
Understanding of incident management, release management, and risk
governance
Strong problem-solving skills with excellent communication
abilities
Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced, high-stakes
environments
Plusses:
Hands-on experience with real-time payment processing systems
Knowledge of payment workflows and related security protocols
Background in financial or banking application environments
Proven track record of driving process improvement initiatives
