• General Certification Requirements: BLS, ARRT, Arizona state licensure.

  • Radiology O/P DIAGNOSTIC - 763010 specialty.
  • Contract length: 13 weeks.
  • Radiation badge required to be provided by the employer.
  • Daily Hours: 8:30-5:00 (May vary depending on clinic needs).

    • ARRT, BLS certifications.
    • General Certification Requirements: BLS, ARRT, Arizona state licensure.
    • Experience or 'Must have' skills: 2 years of experience.
    • Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: PMI Outpatient general studies, Fluoroscopy.
    • Average number of scans/studies per day: General studies are about 25-30.
    • Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens): Phillips.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts & Scheduling: Monday - Friday 7:30 - 4:00.
      • Weekend Requirements: No.
      • Holiday Requirements: No holidays.
      • Call or Standby requirement? Response time?: No Call.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech?: Manager.
        • Do they use RA's (Radiology Assistants)?: No.
        • What EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use?: Cerner, Change healthcare and PACS.
          • Additional Details
          • Will they have to float/cover any other areas?: Not at this time.
          • Radiologist in-house 24/7?: Radiologists in house during OP business hours.
          • Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department): No.
          • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided?: Not Yet.
          • Department specific orientation: X-ray general- 1 week of orientation. Will be scheduled with another tech for the next week or two to ask questions. Then will work more independently.
